表达思想的能力
表达思想的能力主要考查考生对所给的“谈话”话题(topic)能否使用准确的语言结构和符合交际要求的词汇。此项大题要求是在“谈话”过程中的谈话内容应与话题相关而且内容充实，能够用具体的实例或理由来说明自己的观点。在表达时，偶有停顿，总体上能连贯流利地表达思想。只有这样才能达到A级。而实际考试时，考生有能力而且时间允许的话，可以多说几句话发表自己的看法。
如何在1分钟内说好话题?
首先要把握好谈话要求，
1、审题正确，理解谈话话题的内容,抓住关键词。
2、组织框架谈话时开门见山，提出主题句，然后围绕主题句展开
采用例证方法，举例说明运用比较与对照结尾时要进行概括，首尾呼应
3、表达清楚尽量使用熟悉的词汇和句型
开头用语：in my opinion,I think,I believe,in my point of view,
过渡词的使用：以事件发生为顺序：to begin with,first of all,

描述能力主要考查考生组织信息和构建语篇的能力。当考生看到图片之后，仔细观察，明确图意。稍加思考就能有条理地完整地叙述一个主题，并且叙述或描述具体，内容充实、切题，还能围绕图片内容作适当的发挥。语言表达清楚，意思连贯。图片下面有一句提示语，考生应以该句作为开头，特别要重视该句的人称、时态。此外，在描述过程中，能展开联想，并适当增加细节，能运用较丰富的词汇和正确的语言结构，句子通顺，上下文意思连贯，表达清楚，语音和语流没有或基本没有错误。总体上符合交际要求，掌握描述或叙述事件、事物和人物的技能。
